Ease Fears and Phobias with Meridian Tapping

Have you been attempting– unsuccessfully– to handle your fears and worries? Why not try tapping, sometimes called EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique.

How Does It Work?

Meridian tapping, or EFT, is based upon the exact same concepts as acupressure and acupuncture. Professionals of these ancient, alternative techniques of recovery say that unfavorable feelings can interrupt the circulation of energy in the body causing persistent discomfort, migraines, tension, sleeping disorders, panic attacks, fears and worries.

By tapping on acupressure points with your finger, you can instill favorable energy and promote the smooth circulation of your chi or energy. Meridian tapping, or EFT, uses the same points as the needles utilized in acupuncture. But without any needles involved.

The consecutive tapping treatment addresses the causes of your physical discomfort or mental difficulties, stabilizing the body’s energy and removing unfavorable feelings.

You can utilize 2 fingers (index and middle) or all 4 fingers to tap on particular meridian points. Numerous meridian tapping techniques suggest you state specific problems you want to address, to assist your concentration and get the most out of the treatment.

Meridian Tapping Techniques for Phobias and worries

Severe worries and fears are rooted in an imbalance in your body energy. EFT utilizing meridian tapping can fix this imbalance or interruption.

Here is an example of the procedure:

Determine the worry or fear that you desire to get rid of. Make up a declaration acknowledging your worry followed by a favorable affirmation of yourself as an individual such as “Even though I’m horrified of heights, I deeply and totally accept myself anyhow.” Repeat the declaration 3 times while tapping 7-10 times on the Karate Chop point situated on the side of the little finger of your hand.

Next, carry out a round of tapping on the meridian points starting with the crown of your head and proceeding to the eyebrow, side of the eye, under eye, under nose, chin, collarbone, underarm, and back to the head. Tap each point 7 to 10 times while duplicating your fear such as “my worry of heights” or “my worry of public speaking.”

Relieve Fears and Phobias with Meridian Tapping

Have you been trying – unsuccessfully – to manage your fears and phobias?

Many of us have fears which can be big or small.  Sometimes, people develop irrational fears or phobias that they cannot control.  People may have a fear of flying, enclosed spaces, crowds, spiders, or speaking in public.  These fears or phobias can limit or even cripple their every day life.

There are many ways to conquer your fears and overcome your phobias.  Traditionally, people are exposed to their phobia or the thing they are afraid of in order to decondition them to the fear.  However, this technique can be uncomfortable and may even prove detrimental when not done the right way.

One technique that is rapidly gaining immense popularity is called EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques.  Although there is no scientific explanation for this method, thousands of success stories attest to the effectiveness of EFT.

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT is a type of energy therapy.  It brings healing by balancing the body’s energy system.  EFT works on the same principle as acupuncture, wherein patients are treated by manipulating their energy flow or “chi” using needles in their meridians or acupuncture points.

Your fear, phobia, pain, or disease may be caused by an imbalance or disruption in your chi.  EFT uses tapping techniques to restore balance within the body.  By tapping on the acupuncture or acupressure points, you can eliminate negative emotions like fear, anxiety, stress and phobia very quickly.

Meridian Tapping: What is it?

Meridian Tapping Techniques or MTT involves tapping on the acupressure points of the body.  It uses a variety of techniques, hence the official name is in the plural form.  Tapping therapy is a non-invasive, alternative healing method that you can perform on your own.  The sequential tapping procedure addresses the causes of your physical pain or psychological challenges, balancing the body’s energy and eliminating negative emotions.

You can use two fingers (index and middle) or all four fingers to tap on specific meridian points.  Many Meridian Tapping Techniques also require you to say certain phrases that can help you focus on your problem or ailment so that you can get the most benefit from the therapy.

How Does It Work?

Meridian Tapping is based on the same principles as acupressure and acupuncture.  Practitioners of these ancient, alternative methods of healing believe that negative emotions can disrupt the flow of energy in the body leading to chronic pain, migraines, stress, insomnia, panic attacks, fears and phobias.

By tapping on acupressure points with your finger, you can release negative energy and stimulate the smooth flow of your chi or energy.  MTT offers the same beneficial results as the needles used in acupuncture.

Meridian Tapping Techniques for Fears and Phobias

Meridian tapping as a healing method was discovered by accident by Dr. Roger Callahan, who was treating a patient with a phobia of water.  At the time, the patient was also experiencing stomach pain.  Knowing that there is an acupressure point on the cheekbone for the stomach, Dr. Callahan instructed her to tap her cheekbone in order to relieve her stomach pains.  Amazingly, her phobia of water also disappeared!

Extreme fears and phobias are rooted in an imbalance in your body energy.  EFT using meridian tapping can correct this imbalance or disruption.

Here is an example of the process:

First, identify the fear or phobia that you want to overcome.  Compose a statement acknowledging your fear followed by a positive affirmation of yourself as a person such as “Even though I’m terrified of heights, I deeply and completely accept myself anyway.”  Repeat the statement 3 times while tapping 7-10 times on the Karate Chop point located on the side of the small finger of your hand.

Next, perform a round of tapping on the meridian points beginning with the top or crown of your head and moving on to the eyebrow, side of the eye, under eye, under nose, chin, collarbone, underarm, and back to the head.  Tap each point 7 to 10 times while repeating your phobia such as “my fear of heights” or “my fear of public speaking.”

After one or two rounds assess how you feel.  Ideally, your negative emotions will have dissipated or disappeared.  Sometimes you may trigger a secondary issue.  Repeat the therapy until you have completely tamed your fears.

How to Get Over Bad Habits with Tapping

Almost everyone has a bad habit that they want to break.  Some bad habits are easy to get rid of but others can be more challenging.  Psychologists and other experts offer solutions to break undesirable habits, but these days one particular technique is rapidly gaining attention.  Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) using tapping has been shown to be an easy yet effective way to get over bad habits.

Some habits are simply annoying, such as nail biting, chronic coughing or clearing the throat, fidgeting, or procrastinating.  Others can pose a serious threat to your health or safety, such as smoking or excessive drinking.  Practitioners of EFT recommend tapping to free you from the most tenacious  bad habits.

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT is based on the principle that illnesses and psychological disorders are caused by a disturbance in the body’s life energy.  Tapping on the acupuncture points restores balance and allows the body to heal itself.  Tapping on specific points can also relieve stress and the emotional ties binding you to the undesirable habit.

Tapping to Break Bad Habits

People often develop bad habits because they are stressed, bored, or want instant gratification.  You may avoid vacuuming or doing the dishes because you’d rather watch TV.  Nail biting and cracking the knuckles can be signs of stress or nervousness.  Many of these poor habits can be eliminated by tapping.  Tapping on specific meridian points removes stress and releases negative emotions. Although it will not happen overnight, you’ll start to feel better and eventually free yourself from bad habits.

If you have a number of bad habits, you can start working on one of them first.  Perhaps you want to break your habit of biting your nails, smoking, slouching, or running late.  Pick one of your bad habits, such as nail biting, and start tapping to get rid of it.

The great thing about tapping is that there’s nothing complicated about it and you can do it on your own.  Simply focus your thoughts on the habits you want to change and start tapping.  You can easily learn about what points to tap and where to start and end.  You have nothing to lose and everything to gain with Emotional Freedom Techniques tapping.

How to Tackle Bad Habits with Tapping

If you want to break bad personal habits with tapping, the first thing to do is tap while acknowledging your bad habit.  Next, tap to get rid of the habit itself.  Keep in mind that you have to be patient and honest with yourself.  Do not expect to get overnight results.  Many people say you don’t have to follow a specific sequence of tapping points.  However, you may want to follow a particular routine.

EFT tapping always start with the Setup, wherein you acknowledge your bad habit, ailment, or emotional problem.  Tap on the Karate Chop Point 5-10 times while saying, “Even though I [state your bad habit], I intensely and wholly accept myself.”

Next, start a round of tapping through the following meridian points – the eyebrow, under eye, side of the eye, under the chin, under the nose, under arm, collarbone, and top of the head.  Use two fingers of your hands to tap 5 to 10 times.

While tapping, you can say words to acknowledge your bad habits, such as:

  • I often bite my nails when I’m nervous
  • Sometimes I bite my nails
  • I seldom bite my nails now
  • I choose not to bite my nails
  • Even though I bite my nails, I completely love and accept myself anyway
  • I don’t bite my nails now

You can make up the phrases you want to say as you go along.  The important thing is to stay focused on the issue rather than on the words.  Before long, you’ll see an improvement in your behavior and your bad habit will be a thing of the past.

Surrogate or Proxy Tapping

The effectiveness of EFT tapping is well known, but did you know that you can also perform EFT on behalf of somebody else?  This practice is called surrogate or proxy EFT.  It’s used for those who cannot tap for themselves, including children and animals.

Surrogate tapping is a relatively new practice but it’s attracting a lot of attention.  Naturally, everyone wants to know how to do it and if it’s really effective.

What Is Surrogate EFT?

Surrogate EFT involves performing Emotional Freedom Techniques or tapping for the benefit of another person.  It can be done for a variety of issues such as allergies, fears, discomfort or distress.  Parents may do it for a child who is afraid of flying or misbehaving.  Some people even use it for their pets or plants.

How To Do Surrogate Tapping

If you look around, you will find many occasions where proxy tapping is likely to be useful.  If you are on a plane with someone who is afraid of flying, you can tap on their behalf and help them lose their fear.

Before starting a proxy tapping session, make sure you are clear of negative issues and feel good about yourself.  Your EFT setup phrase may go something like this: Even though (name of person) has this problem, I completely accept him/her.  You can imagine a golden thread connecting you to the person (or animal) concerned.

Some people find it helpful to “be” the other person.  Image that you are the other person.  Your EFT setup phrase could go like this: Even though I have this problem, I completely accept myself.

Surrogate tapping proceeds just like any other tapping session.  Tap on the recommended meridian points while saying words of acceptance and affirmation.  Don’t worry about trying to find all the right words to say.  Believe in yourself and trust that what you are doing is best.

After the tapping session, give thanks for the healing and remove any connections you may have made to the person’s energy.  For example, you can imagine cutting the thread connecting you to the person.

How Effective Is Surrogate EFT?

Numerous cases of successful surrogate EFT have been reported, especially when using it to relieve physical pain and discomfort.  This method is also useful for releasing negative emotions as well as beliefs and decisions that are holding a person back.

Proxy tapping is not an easy task and should not be undertaken unless you are confident in your tapping skills.  You should also make sure you are free from negative issues yourself.

For successful surrogate tapping, you must learn to set your ego aside and focus on the needs of the other person.  You’ll get better at it the more you practice.  Keep in mind that you are only a channel or vessel for the healing process.

Some EFT experts recommend the use of NLP tools with surrogate EFT.  Role-playing is a strategy that people sometimes use in NLP, and it can also be used in proxy EFT.  Role playing allows you to take the viewpoint of another individual involved in the process, as well as the role of an outside spectator.  Viewing the issue from different perspectives can help resolve the problem more quickly.

Surrogate EFT Concerns

People may be reluctant to perform surrogate tapping, arguing that it may be “unfair” to the person concerned.  As long as your intentions are good, there should be no problems at all.  Proxy tapping should be done in a non-judgmental way, with the ultimate goal of releasing negative emotions and alleviating pain and discomfort.  Surrogate EFT is done not to control but to heal.

7 EFT Tapping Mistakes and How to Avoid Them

EFT tapping is simple and easy to learn, but did you know that it’s still possible to make mistakes?  Here are some of the common mistakes people make when tapping:

 1. Not Tapping Often Enough

Tapping should be done on a daily basis.  Experts recommend at least 5 minutes of tapping three or more times each day.  At the very least, do some tapping in the morning before getting out of bed, and again at night before falling asleep.  A few issues can be cleared up with a minute of tapping, but the majority will require more time and attention.  More frequent tapping can also clear bigger problems more quickly.

2. Not Tapping Long Enough

Many people stop too soon during a tapping session.  Too often, beginners tap for few rounds and give up when they feel they’re not getting the results they were hoping for.  Tapping should take 10-30 minutes, or even longer.  Devoting enough time to tapping will make a lot of difference.

Some people will also stop when they begin to feel better.  Don’t settle for a bit of relief; keep on tapping until the energy starts flowing and you feel really good.

3. Not Being Specific Enough

Global or general statements can help get you started in the right direction while tapping, but after that you have to be more specific.  You can setup with a statement like “Even though I feel anxious right now, I deeply and completely accept myself.”  After doing a couple of rounds of the general statement, you can go down to specifics such as “Even though I feel anxious about my upcoming job interview, I deeply and completely accept myself.”  You’ll get better results when you’re focused on a specific issue.

4. Wanting To Do The Tapping Perfectly Right Away

Some people want to be “perfect” and may put off tapping until they feel they are able to do it correctly.  As a result they only try the technique a few times, or not at all.

Getting started on tapping is more important than being perfect.  You can still get good results even if you think your technique is less than perfect.  Start with the basic tapping points and be sure to tap daily to develop your EFT skills.

5. Not Tuning Into The Feelings

Don’t forget that tapping clears emotional energy from your body.  Hence, it’s important to tune into your feelings and not merely “think” about them.  If your psychological difficulties these days are the result of embarrassing childhood memories, try to recall how you felt at the time.  Old feelings of shame, hurt and anger will sometimes resurface when you tap.  Try to resurrect these feelings and you will get more out of your tapping sessions.

6. Expecting All Results From Tapping To Be Permanent

You can’t expect 100% positive results all the time, and this is true not only for EFT but for all healing methods as well.  Don’t get frustrated or discouraged if an issue or part of it comes back.  Some people do get permanent results but in many cases you may have to do more tapping to get rid of the issue completely.

If you have a problem that keeps coming back, this could mean that other aspects or a root cause needs to be uncovered and addressed first.

7. Sticking To EFT Basics Only

In order to master EFT and reap its full benefits, you have to invest time and effort to gain skill and develop your intuition.  It’s not enough to “go through the motions”.  Harness your intuition and use it to seek out the most effective tapping techniques and peel away the emotions and root causes of your problems.

Aromatherapy Essential Oils

The use of essential oils, which is derived from the pure essence of a plant, is not new. Though the term aromatherapy was coined only in the 1920s (by Gattefossé in 1928), people knew of aromatherapy essential oils from the prehistoric times. Starting from the Chinese to Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Persian and Indian civilizations, each have added to the science of essential oils and to aromatherapy as a whole.

Research still continues in the field of aromatherapy essential oils, with new developments being made in the field. Aromatherapy and essential oils are no longer limited to cosmetic or aromatic uses only. Many of the essential oils have been proved to have medicinal and therapeutic benefits too. Take lavender oil for instance. French chemist Gattefossé would have been unaware of the properties of lavender oil to give instant relief without any scar in cases of burn, until he burnt his hand and accidentally put his hand in the jar full of the essence of lavender.

Similarly, there are a large number of essential oils that have medicinal properties. The ‘tulsi’ plant or Indian basil, distinct through its strong aroma and taste, is considered “the elixir of life” since it is thought to bring longevity. The use of the plant’s extracts is made to treat illnesses like headaches, inflammation, heart disease, and malaria. The essential oils derived from ‘karpoora tulsi’ have found use in the manufacture of herbal toiletry.

Essential oils are derived from almost every part of the plant. Leaves, stems, flowers, roots, etc are distilled through steam or water to result into essential oils. Consequently, aromatherapy essential oils contain the true essence of the plant. In its purest form, a few drops of essential oil can give the same results that loads of that plant would have given. This is because essential oils are available in concentrated form.

Though referred to as oil, essential oils in aromatherapy do not give that oily feeling. Except for a few oils such as patchouli, orange and lemongrass, most oils are clear and see-through.

Aromatherapy essential oils must be differentiated from the perfume or fragrance oils. While essential oils contain the purest essence of the plant, fragrance oils are made of artificially created substances as a whole or a part of it. Fragrance oils may cause allergies or other skin reaction because of the use of artificial substances; but the use of essential oils brings  no such reaction, unless you happen to be allergic to that specific one.

Aromatherapy essential oils can be used by people either through inhalation or by applying them on skin in a diluted form. When essential oils are inhaled, they enter the bloodstream and lungs directly, thus producing an instant effect on the ailment.

Applying aromatherapy essential oils on the body is good for absorption. Since essential oils are available in a concentrated form, they need to be diluted using carrier oil. Sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, grape seed oil, etc are blended with the essential oil; and the mixture is used on the body or the part that is afflicted.

One needs to be very careful while purchasing an essential oil. Though readily available, people are not well equipped to differentiate between the good quality and poor quality essential oil. The following checklist might be helpful to all those people who are on their way shopping for aromatherapy essential oils:

• A vendor who allows you to check the essential oil is preferred more.
• If the bottle containing essential oils has terms such as fragrance oils, nature identical oils; they are not essential oils.
• Never buy a bottle of essential oil that seems old. It might be adulterated or just might not produce the medicinal benefits.
• A clear glass bottle of essential oils allows light to come in, thus reducing its aroma therapeutic benefits. Avoid buying essential oils that are sold in clear glass bottles.
• Essential oils sold in plastic bottles too must be avoided as it dissolves plastic and becomes contaminated for use.

Herbal Remedies- 7 Reasons Why They Work!

People have woken up to the use of herbs, but they have been in use for thousands of years, and throughout history, you have instances where some herbs have been instrumental in saving the life of many a hero.

It’s no secret that the traditional and popular use of herbs for medicinal purpose declined with the advent of pharmaceuticals and its cut-throat promotion. As the industry grew bigger and bigger, the use of medicinal herbs, just kept on decreasing until the time when it simply vanished altogether.

A resurgence in popularity

It’s very difficult to pinpoint, just when did herbal medicines make their way back into popular consciousness, but one thing is sure, they are now here to stay. The increasing prices and painful side-effects of various pharmaceuticals have contributed to the popularity of herbal remedies; but more importantly it is the success of their use that has prompted many people to use them regularly and in place of pharmaceuticals.

Reasons for popularity

It is their advantages that have made them so popular. As more and more herbs make their entry as remedial options, their benefits are increasing on a daily basis. It’s not uncommon for you to see television commercials exhorting the virtues of various herbal medicines.

The Net and various other sources of information, have a deluge of content that talks about herbs, their usage, remedies, and success.

The reasons

Here are 7 Reasons why herbal remedies are beneficial and are popularly used:

Most herbal remedies are inexpensive, as compared to their counterparts in the pharmaceutical world. Moreover, the fact that they are cheap does not mean that they have lost any of their efficacies.

Many an allopathic treatment plan for various ailments looks out of bounds for people who cannot afford them. It cannot be denied that there are a large number of such people. For these people, the re-reemergence of herbal options has come like an answer to all their troubles.

No longer do they have to compromise on quality if they want to buy the medicines prescribed by their doctor. With regards to herbal remedies, they can buy the best, at very nominal rates.

Very little or no side effects

Almost all pharmaceutical drugs that are available in the market today have a particular side effect attached to them. Name the drug, and you can name its side effect. Not so with herbs. Most medicinal herbs can be used without worrying about any side effects.

In case of serious ailments, the herbs used might have some side effects, but on the whole these can be tolerated quite easily. For e.g. an herb called Chamomile is used in case of an ailment to the digestive system. It has no side effects whatsoever.

On the other hand if you want to treat a digestive ailment with a drug, then you are going to face quite a few side effects.

The variety in terms of a particular herb, just about boggles the mind. A herb can have multiple variations, which can be used to treat the same ailments, through its various stages.

An example can be made of the herbal tea that is available in various forms.

This is a corollary of our earlier reason. The inherent nature of herbs makes them versatile and one herb can be used in various different remedies. This essentially means that one herb has different qualities that are used to treat different ailments.

For e.g. Ginger can be used for various stomach maladies, and for treating more serious ailments as well.

Available in various forms

The best part about herbal remedies is that they can be used in different forms. You can get dried herbs, which have to be crushed into powder form. This powder can then be mixed with water or tea, or in other cases, this powder can also be applied in topical form.

Many people have formed a habit of taking drugs in pill form. Various herbal medications are also available in this form. If your herbal remedy suggests a blend of herbs, then these are also available in the form of gel-caps, and can be swallowed easily.

It is also available in the form of a tincture, and herein, you only have to drop a few droplets onto your tongue.

No toxicity

They are free from any kind of toxic substances as they are organic in nature. This also means that they are not habit forming, like various other chemical drugs. This is one of the reasons why they are now being extensively used to relax the nervous system.

Easy availability

Herbal remedies are easily available and no longer do you have to search high and low for the prescribed medications. Today, they are available in almost all medicine shops and can also be ordered online.

On the whole, herbal remedies are a form of treatment that one can enjoy and take the maximum benefits from. Almost all common and uncommon ailments can be treated by their usage and this is why they are being used extensively.

Getting Candida/Yeast Under Control

Many people, after years of dealing with yeast symptomology, have discovered that  until the yeast (candida albicans) is brought under control, the body can not start to heal with efficacy. That means we have to look at ‘balance’. A body that is out of balance is an ideal habitat for disease if the internal environment of the body is unbalanced.

Friendly Bacteria: Candida does have a purpose! When infants are born, their intestinal tracts have about 75% lactobacillus acidophilus and about 25% e coli bacteria which are the ‘non-friendly’ bacteria. Yeast also exists in the intestines and plays the function of assisting in breaking down proteins.
The issue occurs when these non-friendly and friendly bacteria get out of balance, therefore enabling the yeast to proliferate.

In addition, certain foods motivate the growth of Candida. Candida fungus is a living micro-organism that prospers on all food items that are simple sugars, as well as all foods that turn to glucose (sugar) in the body.

Signs: The symptoms that can take place from systemic yeast are too numerous to mention; however here are some: extreme mood swings, irritability, anxiety, headaches, sleepiness, gastritis, colitis, bloating, fluid in ears, itching, rashes, psoriasis, acne, spots in vision, blurred vision, nasal congestion and stuffiness, postnasal drip, cystitis, bladder, endometriosis or kidney infections, anorexia nervosa, overeating, sleeping disorders, poor flow, tingling and tingling, vaginal burning or itching, menstrual cramping, PMS, hay fever, asthma, food sensitivities, hives, loss of interest in sex, thrush, and colic.

Food digestion: Proper food digestion is the missing ingredient in many health programs. The role of food digestion in managing Candida is no exception. After eating a meal, the food starts to break down through enzymes produced by the body. Minerals in the bloodstream assist the parietal glands in the stomach in making hydrochloric acid. This acidic reaction kills pathogens on the food and allows the protein and minerals to be additional broken down by gastrointestinal juices. The small intestine walls do not have protective mucosa, so without this alkalizing mineral bath you would have burning and pain. As soon as this process is complete, the food remains in small pieces able to travel through the walls of the little intestinal tracts to be used as food energy at a cellular level. If this digestive process is working properly you will remain in good shape; given, naturally, that your diet plan is abundant in raw and natural foods.

Human Digestive System

Most people slip up someplace along the line. If you do not chew your food well to begin the digestion process, if your pancreas is not producing enough enzymes, and you don’t make adequate HCL then the pepsin can not transform to pepsinogen in the stomach and protein digestion along with mineral absorption suffers. The body is then malnourished in spite of all your efforts to consume properly.

Food that remains in a state of partial food digestion cannot cross the gut wall as nourishment. This can irritate the gut wall; or big partly digested food particles can cross through and distribute the blood stream in an unusable form. This state triggers a physical reaction of defense. Yeast is called upon to eat protein or starch that wasn’t absorbed in the intestines. The more the yeast is fed, the more waste it makes. The waste from the overgrowth of yeast creates the problems which manifest as signs of dis-ease.

Exterminating the yeast assists … but is not the total response. Good digestion is essential. Food enzymes, particularly containing cellulase, which eats yeast, are a vital part of any Candida program. There are a number of herbs which can get the yeast under control by killing it off. Here are a few: White pond lily, greasewood, purple loosestrife, pau d’arco, caprylic acid, oregano, and garlic.

Altering your diet: Avoid starchy foods, white flour, processed foods, and sugars. Packaged meats, canned goods, vinegar, yeast items, cakes, sweet, mushrooms, alcohol, and peanuts are significant foods to prevent.

After taking medications: Continuing on the digestive program of enzymes which include cellulase is a should at all times; however especially after a bout of prescription antibiotics, or continuous usage of oral contraceptives. Candida/yeast programs: it is crucial to follow up with refloridation of the friendly germs in the colon. Acidophilus, bifidophilus, and other pressures of healthy bacteria are necessary. If the digestive system remains in a state of tidiness, with excellent peristalsis; the friendly bacteria will ultimately begin to repopulate on their own.

Candida can be kept in check.

Natural Healing Methods to Consider

Medical practitioners in many Asian countries are known to incorporate natural healing methods with alternative herbal medicines. Instead of undergoing expensive medical treatment using synthetic and modern technologies, many find the natural method along with alternative herbal medicine a cost-effective solution to achieve the perfect health.

The belief of natural healing involves the use of 100% natural techniques and ingredients to promote better health. Synthetic medicines and modern medical technology are known to have side-effects that may prove to be fatal if not properly administered or performed.

Natural healing alternatives delve into the capability of the human body to adapt and recover without any outside help. Our bodies are equipped with its own defense mechanism towards illnesses and diseases. These methods aim to strengthen this ability to boost the immune system to fight off health-related problems without any side-effects or complications.

Natural healing doesn’t only deal with physical health problems. In fact, it has been documented and proven that this method can also be used for mental and emotional ailments. Certain herbal compounds are known to induce relaxation to help a person deal with stress without having to take in synthetic products that can cause side-effects to crop up during use.

Certain plant extracts and aroma can directly affect the mind when inhaled and is most often used on patients suffering from behavioral problems. There are also some plants that can help the body relax when applied directly on the skin– like peppermint extract that can relax tight muscles that is usually attributed to stress. Natural healing method with herbal medicines can also help in weight loss programs for a slimmer and healthier body.

The art of acupuncture originated from the Chinese. It delves into the energy pathways in the human body called meridians. Many Asian health experts believe that ailments and diseases are caused by blocked meridians that disrupt the flow of positive healing energy from circulating throughout the body.

Needles charged with positive energy are inserted into these meridian points to clear up the blockage, as well as to stimulate the flow of healthy energy deep within the body. Certain herbal medicines and concoctions are administered to their patients to increase the volume of healing energy for a full-body recovery.

Reiki and Qi Gong

Reiki and Qi Gong involve the healing of an individual using the positive energies of both the practitioner and those that stem from the universe. The practitioner of the art inscribes symbols upon the afflicted area on the human body and directs their energies into it for healing. Herbal medicines are given to their patients to amplify these positive energies for the treatment to yield beneficial results.

Proper Use Of Herbal Medicines

Despite the safe and beneficial results of using natural healing methods with alternative herbal medicine, there is a possibility that some adverse reactions might take place that might become a problem when left unchecked.

It is each individual’s responsibility to follow proper medical advice and consult their medical professional with any and all concerns. Have a full body check-up with your doctor and subject yourself to a complete laboratory exam to determine whether your body can use these treatment methods safely or not.
