Shrimp is all-time favorite with so many families. Especially when they have that crunchy-crispy coating on the outside. All too often that wasn’t a very healthy choice.
But… with these few changes, this much-loved treat can become surprisingly healthy. Give it a try!
You Will Need:
10 uncooked shrimps
¾-cup coconut flour
½-cup shredded coconut
2-cups virgin coconut oil
1/3-cup coconut water
Peel and devein the shrimp.
Coat the shrimp in the batter.
Roll the shrimp in the coconut.
Chill the shrimp for 15 minutes in the freezer. While the shrimp is chilling, heat the oil in a pan or wok.
Fry the shrimp until golden brown on both sides.
Now serve and watch your family’s faces light up with smiles!
